Hey,
Thanks for the new colour picker. I've been waiting for one of those for a long time. But why did my custom colours have to be taken away? All chat is now black, and my previously saved custom colours are all black too.
Is there an understandable version of the update blurb relating to "gestures" and "pie menus". Try as I might, I can't make any sense of what is/isn't supposed to happen.
Sorry, but the other new features (scalable UI, overly-complicated Snapshot system) seem like additions for the sake of it to me. I know this is a common complaint, but would it not be better to concentrate on the "core" issues, like texture loading, slow sim fps and heavy time dilation before tarting up the UI?

And it is SO annoying that, for the second week running, an update is followed by grid closure due to issues with the update!

It seems to me, that with each new update, more and more other problems/bugs are being introduced, and more and more frequently this results in the grid being taken down on update day to "fix" the problems. This wouldn't be as frustrating if the updates were released once a month, rather than "nearly" every week. At least a monthly update would give the impression that some testing had been done beforehand, rather than the current impression (mine at least) that SL is running to some "update targets" that must be met, regardless of the stability/quality/usefulness of the update.

Hey Nicola! Yes, this is a bug. Mine were taken away too--will be fixed.

But as I mentioned, I think a video would be best--it's hard to describe! Hmmm.

The tricky counterpoint is bugs come up that need to be fixed ASAP which require new releases--which means a month can feel like forever. I've seen it many times, but the important thing is to keep on moving and addressing things as they come up. Rapid action. :)
