Today's update was terrible. Its like no one tests these updates before unleashing them. 1.10 worked fine for me, no issues, understandably there were issues that need fixing but this update today has 1. lagged me to no end 2. caused packet loss for me, meaning a problem there and your side is where it is located 3. caused some friend problems with crashing since 1.10 came out. Could u do us all a favor and actually test these updates to make sure they work? you have a preview grid u can use for that.

Hi Raven, we do use the Preview Grid extensively for major updates so they aren't a total shock--we like to ease into transitions, and 1.10 was on the Preview Grid for quite some time. Without further info, I'm afraid I can't do more for you. But some general suggestions:

* Press Ctrl-Alt-D to get the DEBUG menu up, and then select FAST TIMERS from it. When things get "laggy", pay attention to the colored bars and the highest number on the left. If it's something that doesn't make explicable sense, such as a high Geometry number in an near-empty area with hardly any objects, that could be a bug. If you find something reproducible, HELP menu > REPORT BUG helps us get your steps so we can experience it too.

* About the packet loss, please monitor what it is in different areas and check for specifics. Doing a traceroute: http://secondlife.com/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=TechTraceroute is often useful.

* I hope your friends have been sending in their crash logs to us. PREFERENCES > GENERAL tab and set them to always send.

The more info we get, the better we can understand your problems and help you out. You can always contact Support too.

There'll be more updates to come! Hope things get better soon. :)
