Is Shermerville part of the mainland or is it a private sim of some kind?

Pelanor, Shermerville is overseen by her royal majesty, Governor Linden. :) So yes, it's a mainland region, despite it's visual discontinuity from the "bulk" of the mainland. But similarly, the southern continent (wayyy down there) is in a similar sort of situation.
