OK ignore me this is the info I found. Not sure I understand it at all but it s not what I thought ( I think?) lol http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:04gttqgbmGYJ:blog.secondlife.com/2006/12/20/town-hall-with-cory-introductory-transcript/+second+life+textures+HTML&hl=en&gl=uk&ct=clnk&cd=3 Will this change the way we currently use and display textures in SL? Do I have to display textures from a website and remove them from my store now? Was informed by a worried customer about it all Im no tech head so forgive my stupidy on the subject

Hi LillyBeth,
No worries at all. This won't change the way you upload and use existing textures inworld. Rather, it will change the way we handle the way textures are sent to the SL viewer "behind the scenes." Our goal is to use more Internet standards and improve performance.
Take care, -Pathfinder
