I've had notecards advertising apartment rentals dropped on me unsolicited while working as a mentor in the Welcome Areas. This is clearly spam and a nuisance but is it against TOS? While it doesn't seem like taht big a deal, if it picks up in frequency it could become very annoying and problematic.

Yes, spam is against the Terms of Service. Glad you asked.
See section 5.1.(vii), which says (I've abbreviated this): 5.1 Participant Conduct. In addition to abiding at all times by the Community Standards, you agree that you shall not:... (vii) upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation; You can send in an abuse report from the HELP menu to have it investigated. _____________________
