Why not do away with the red fences in SL and use orbs with a range of 30 meters or less? That would ensure privacy while making SL a place to be explored.

I've heard many variations on this theme. Some suggest the red fences should be invisible until you touch them, or at least, draw VERY near. Orbs have also been suggested, but no decisive support from Residents *yet*--maybe you'd like to do a proposal in the Feature Voting Tool with the clear benefits and change that?
