Kelly, one more thing sorry. Does this now mean no hope for the little guys?

Right now if you are lucky to be listed you can do tricks to get to the top (asterix, eclamation point, etc before your land title)

if this is changed to list TOP traffic..then those with little traffic will not be listed at all (Esp since there is no next button)

is this correct or have i misunderstood?

Looking at the "places" search everything shows up by traffic count. This is how "all" will work now?

And where does that throw the classified listings which currently mix in with land listings under "all"?

Thanks

* The change will *only* effect Places type listings in the All search.

* Our Search Sucks. You can quote me on that.
- The fields that can be searched are limited
- There is no ability to get results by relevence
- The All search is a horrible hack
- There is no way to do an advanced search (and, or, not, search in a specific field etc).

So yes, this change will make it so that the places that don't appear on the first page for a particluar search term in Places, will not show up in an All search for the same term.

The difference and the reason I went ahead and did this, is that the behavior will be predictable. Right now the behavior is not predictable, there is no way to guess which ones will show in all and there is no way to control it.

Classifieds will continue to sort how they do now - by money paid I believe. This was not changed.
