I loved my experience with my first Burning Life, however.. When it was all over with, no word from our sponsors (Lindens)... When we would be able to take down our builds in a nice, peaceful, and orderly manner. Instead, we got everything returned back to us via our lost and found folder. The day after the event closed, Which was yesterday, I went to go clean up my exhibit. Teleporting was not possible and I received a message that I was not allowed in that area. Hmmm... I then used Live help to find out when we get to go and clean up, before Lindens decided to return it all to us in one clustered mess. The Mr. Linden that spoke to me, advised me to send an IM to Jeska Linden, as she was overseeing the project. a few hours later... BAMMO....BAMMO...BAMMO....etc. etc. etc. many more times of etc.... Then a message..... "Objects in Burning Life (Nani) are being returned to you at an excessive rate. The IM notifications from this region to you are temporarily deactivated" ..... Why oh Why......did we get dumped on like that? I bet y'all were rolling on the floor laughing... yes, thats ROFL.. at the thought of all those many many prims which our exhibits were constructed of, Rushing into our NOW, very long and messed up lost and found folder. Not Cool!

Sincerely Yours, Burned Burner

Frend, I am so sorry you got hit by this.

The abruptness of it was because we needed the Burning Life regions quickly, so that the hardware could be allocated to new First Land and Private Islands ASAP. I wish we could have given more advance warning but it was a real *time crunch*! There's some more background here on the situation:

As a Linden who personally participated in Burning Life and saw so much cool stuff here (to be gracefully blunt about it) by our wonderful Resident artists, seeing it go was sad. And having your Inventory chokeslammed is even worse; my apologies.

Not funny to us either. :(
