Building and texturing problems

In addition to all the bugs i have seen reported here (and experienced in world) and all the changes that have been made which seem to have made it more difficult to do anything.........

I am having a lot of problems recently when editing items i am building. It happens for both single and grouped prims. When i use the arrows to move or the up/down arrows in the edit box, the prim seems to go into a world of its own and moves about at random for 5-10 seconds. It often ends up somewhere totally different from its intended position. the only way i can get it to it proper position is to type the value into the edit box. I now find that you have changed that too so that it highlight the whole value when clicked instead of just putting the cursor where you click:((

The problem is not restricted to moving objects either, when texturing I often find that i try to change the repeats/size and position of a texture only to stop typing and watch the values change on their own to something completely different. I have reported this as a bug and asked online help but have not been given a reason or solution to the problem.

please can you help?

Also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop messing about with major controls unless it is something that will fundamentally change the way SL works. we all spend a lot of hours getting used to how to do things and a small change can take ages to get used to and spoils our enjoyment. (the cursor leaving the chat field when the camera controls are used is an example)

Hi hurly, I want to let you know more about what's going on. Post-1.11, as you can probably imagine, there's a lot of bug reports which take some time to resolve. I personally was wading in a lot of them over the course of the last couple of days.

So, those reports will get inspected. And your patience is appreciated. VERY much so. :)

What you mention--I could see if I could have a look at it today, but I request that you detail it out in clear steps to make it easy-to-understand. Guide me through it like I'm a dummy so I can get a better grasp. Can you please be so kind to do that? Just email me, torley@lindenlab.com

There are some focus bugs I'm aware of. Those will be fixed too.
