Do you acknowledge rezzing problems?

I would just like to know if Linden Lab is aware of the rezzing problems that have suddenly crippled the grid over the last few weeks. The problem is severe, and ubiquitous, and I have not seen it mentioned on the official blog. I would just like to hear that you acknowledge the probems and are working toward a solution.

To be more specific, I am talking about objects and textures taking several minutes - and up to 15 to 20 minutes - to appear in world after a teleport. After a teleport, avatars lose all or some of their attachments and may not get them back for many minutes (it sure must be frustrating to be a furry right now). This problem appears completely unlreated to the apparent load on the sim ... I am currently standing alone in a sim with no other avatars. I have been here for twenty minutes now and I am still waiting for walls to rez and my hair to appear.

Are you working on this? We have had two releases since this problem was introduced and I have not seen it mentioned or addressed ... but I can tell you that everybody I talk to in-world is frustrated beyond belief.

There is certainly one rezzing problem I know about, Persephone. I wanted to let you know this:

The network throttle is broken, which means particularly after periods of high packet loss, your downloading will go slowwww just like you described. While I'm not sure if that's the same prob you're having, try this and see if it works: when rezzing is slow for you again, in Preferences > Network tab, "jiggle" the Maximum Bandwidth slider. Move it back and forth some, then OK. You should see your Bandwidth bar on the upper-right corner of the screen shoot up noticeably. It worked for me.

I checked and this is internally fixed, and tentatively should be available in Second Life 1.12.3. Hope this helps. :)
