Hi,

I've heard people say that prim faces that are set fully transparent by a script are actually removed before the scene is rendered to reduce the poly count. Just wondering if that's true or just a myth.

Thanks. :)

Interesting SLurban legend... first time I've heard of this, but it's good because now I know.

However, it's just a myth: if you go to VIEW menu ---> HIGHLIGHT TRANSPARENT you can still see all the faces of a prim represented, no matter what the % of transparency is. :)
