Apart from the already reported bugs, the new pie menu has a serious usability flaw: When I right-click on an object, not releasing the mouse button yet, I get the new pie menu. Sometimes I change my mind, though and want it to close immediately, without selecting any of the menu items. I used to simply drag the mouse away from the menu and release the button, so I would be safely avoiding any of the entries. Obviously this doesn't work anymore. The idea of combining movements for the menu is a nice one - once it's working, but please give us a way to "escape" the menu by dragging out far enough. Alternatively, take the old menu system back in, a lot of people seem to be unhappy with the new menu (though not as many as with the snapshot system ). /108/86/122821/1.html/310/ac/121053/1.html

If you havn't started a gesture - if you release the right mouse button while still in the center - then you can click again anywhere outside the pie menu, or in its center, to close the pie menu.
