hey, im posting here hopefully to get a solid answer from a linden. i get along with almost all my nighbors, and have even donated some of my land or prims to make courtyards to share traffic and make look nicer, with the exception of one person who has tried to blackmail us into buying land for 5xs the price or post competettiors signs within our courtyards and shops. after asking live help, who assured me it was ok to put up walls to block view of his land and adds as long as on my property, i walled off around the one neighbor only. shortly after this he filed abuse report and i was warned for blocking him in with walls on all four sides, even though at time was only 30 m high (same as ban hieght and he was banned).

my question is, i made the walls phantom so as to block his signs, but not hurt him from getting in , but he is banned from nmy land because he has talked to my customers about me in bad way on my land, but with new change, if i keep him on bammed list, then he is blocked from his land to almost 280m high on all 4 sides since i own most land in sim. What are the exact rules for this, can i wall him off or not if i dont want to see him, and am i going to get in trouble for keeping him on banned list witrh new ban hieghts?

i dont want him on my land, but im trying to stay in rules, would apprecate an answer form a linden that would stick and not go back and forth, thanks!

Good day to you, Danielz!

Here's your answer: neighborly disputes are always awful when they escalate. That's why it's important peaceful steps are always tried to resolve problems first. Building walls to box in neighbors isn't recommended--depending on the specific context, I've seen it lead to "who can build higher" battles in the past, and discipline dinged for all involved.

However, regarding system ban tools--such as the ABOUT LAND > BAN list, we provide them *exactly* for your convenience. They can be used however you wish. That's why we put them there, to give Residents better control over their experience!

Before doing so I'd take the human path and ask if you and he can come to a better agreement, if you haven't already. But, if he unfortunately continues to disturb you, it's within your landowner's rights to place him on your ban list. It may not be amicable, but given your current land arrangement, it's an option. Sounds tricky, so I wish you all the best with this.
