Optional > not manditory , i thought that what its ment -.o Optional client download usually means its Required <.< Nitpicking i know, but its one of the words that confuse me still if its not manditory why does it require it  ? Id change this to "required" , its confusing >.< Dictonary; Related Words alternative, chosen; dispensable, unnecessary, unneeded, unwanted Near Antonyms essential, indispensable, necessary, requisite Antonyms compulsory, mandatory, nonelective, obligatory, required |

Optional is supposed to mean 'optional', so if optional means 'required' then that sounds like a bug.
That said, the optional update notice will pester each time you log in until you actually update, and usually LL will promote an optional update to be required after a day or two if it demonstrates successful bug fixes or improvements with no known bad side effects.
