Why do sims that are all green have the mud texture?

Half the time the ground in my First Land in Sinaburoe is all mud, and half an hour after logging in it's STILL all mud. I'm on the border with Noonkkot, and it has exactly the same problem. Why do sims like this, which only have one ground texture visible, ever, have anything but the grass texture defined?

I reckon half the sims on the southern continent would be improved by having a Linden go around and change all the textures to green!

I'll check with our Content Team Lindens about this, Rita.

I've visited and "Wet sand" appears to be the lowest altitude texture, but didn't see the muddiness you describe. So also, could you please be sure to email me a picture of what exactly you're seeing? torley@lindenlab.com
