Hello. I noticed that the police blotter is full of cases where people got in trouble for using trademarks and I have a question. Is it ok to use trademarks on things that are not for sale? For example my farm cabin is full of food containters that have real life labels on them but they are not for sale. Am I in violation of the TOS? If I am I will remove them so please let me know. Thanks.

No, it's not okay to use trademarks you don't own on freebies either. The question here can be not just one of commerciality but brand name confusion too. I'd remove them and use your own original designs.
