Need help understanding...

I was wondering if I should interpret this as a child jamming fingers in both ears yelling "LALALA I CANT HEAR YOU" or "We have finally stopped pretending to care."

The current explanations make no sense. Please, help us understand why LL is ignoring its paying customers while enabling griefers and children, because the explanations that we are formulating ourselves in world and on the forums paint LL in an unprecedentedly bad light -- and considering the already venomous nature of forum culture that's impressive.

I looked there earlier, Kristian; I can't look there now (the page is offline) as we work on restoring the website.

But, it's not that we don't listen. That's particularly hurtful... I know there are a lot of internal discussions and process using actual Resident experiences which the public doesn't see.

The best way to interpret? Ask us; well you know you can ask me.

Michi Lumin, one of our most terrorized by griefers, has made some the most explanatory posts on better tools so you don't have to put up with crap. Ask her for her experiences, they are among the most visceral and chilling I have heard here. That's what increasing ban height was about. IT FINALLY CHANGED AFTER, WHAT, THREE DAMN YEARS???

I have to say that because I had frustration with it too; times I eked out in guest houses and got griefed.

Yes, that explicitly makes clear we're working towards TRUE MUTE. Someone pisses you off, bang, they're like a ghost in the netherworld. We've already added muting recently for teleport offers and offline IMs. In pieces, looks like we'll get TRUE AUDIO MUTE. Things are being done and we super-value having you here.

I think one problem is not so much ignorance as, lack of better communication: and this is my passion, so any news I get, I want to feed it out to all interested Resis.
