I reported this bug back in 1.8 where the prims change their colouring/lighting very slowly (some don't change until I click on them) after I force sun or used mouselook to change the sun position. It seems to have been fixed!
Now the question is, was it something deliberate that caused it to be corrected? Or did it just 'heal' itself. In either case, thanks!

Cot, I remember that--there haven't been any changes to Local Lighting like that which I know of. In the meantime, though, there've been other environmental changes which may have had an effect, such as increased nighttime brightness and the wonderful FORCE SUN changes in 1.9. I haven't had Local Lighting on in awhile but I'll have to give this a spin too! Thanx for your observation.

Sorry, Cot, I misunderstood. Scratch the part I said about "Local Lighting" and thanks to Travis Lambert for the additional info.  I know better about what you're referring to now--in the interim, YES, there were some things which were tweaked. However, there is still at least one related Known Issue: From: someone * Object faces stay lit when focused on
