Congrats on hitting 2 million

Meanwhile there are those of us who take this platform seriously --- My little company is bringing in RL business - and we buy from SL sellers -

For example - Cisco Systems and Cisco Islands were both developed by my little company - the big items we did ourselves, but all of the furntue. landscaping, fun items and red stapler (yes - red) were bought in world

So today we are developing the Los Arboles sim - a sim dedicated to our vision of SL - we have purchased the "best" of SL in hopes of showing RL companies that they do not have to overpay and overprim to develop in world content - (fast load means and equals less prims) - then we ran into the typical "new" SL issue - inventory

As I have already asked - and got NO reply -

Inventory Update Needed
Waiting for over an hour for more details on the Official Blog in regards to the current (Thursday Dec 14 10:25 am) invenotry issue.

For me it has caused great problems

Purchased over $5KL in landscaping items for a sim development. Received items from the seller and was able to open them and transfer to my inventory.

Went to rez on the sim - nada - nothing - nope - all items gone.

This is not the fault of the vendor - but with the database (again).

Hope to hear there is a fix for this, or once again I have to eat these $L. (Yes, I am under no illusion that Linden Labs would repay my loss and I do not feel that it is the sellers fault).

So what is your response?

How does my little company go forward?
Do only the big developers get the break?
Is it fair that I ask the sellers to refund the products that they sold to me (and delivered)?

Please respond ------- I. like many people have come to SL to take on the platform and have never asked to be FIC - just a level play field

First thing to try is clear your cache and restart SL (in Preferences -> Network big button for Clear Cache). If that does not help then you should file a bug report in world from the Help menu (Report Bug) and contact support: http://secondlife.com/community/support.php

Those are the correct channels to get personal account issues resolved and to make us aware of bugs.
