Has LL given any thought to compensating land owners who are basically denied the use of their land by constantly crowded clubs and events? I'm not talking a busy Saturday night but I am talking 30+ every day, 43 as I type. Although I have a pretty powerful computer and I can still barely move around, I can't bring any friends over due to a full server (sometimes I can tp them in but all they can do is stand in one spot.. woot) or even build because of the slideshow lag. I paid a lot for my land and now it is basically worthless, my tier is nothing but a donation to LL coffers.

This and other clubs are acting like Denial of Service attacks to surrounding land owners and I think it is appalling that LL doesn't give a tinker's damn about fairly allocating resources. Has LL given any thought about some sort of penalty or tax on clubs that rob resources from other land ownwers in the sim every day? Perhaps making parcel avatar limits matching the amount of land owned in a sim, you own 1/4 of a sim, you can have 10 avatars on your parcel with a lower limit of 3 for the smallest plot maybe. This has been a constant complaint for the two and a half years I've been on SL and it still hasn't been resolved.

Hi Kathmandu,

The larger issues around "I can't get into my home because there's a camping chair casino on my land and it's all full!" continue to concern us. Internally, we're currently investigating options — a club tax isn't hasn't been considered yet, because it's not clear how feasible or straightforward or fair it'd be to implement (noone's shown us a lucid proposal yet). But we do want to help.

I know it's been a long time, but similar to other long-requested issues (like privacy controls), perhaps a dramatic change will come. I don't have further details at this point.
