I'm wondering if there is information about the extent and nature of preview grid usage you (the Linden collective) could give us.

As an example, there was a comment in a post saying "suppose there are 500 people using the preview grid". My observation suggests that average preview grid occupancy would be more like 5 people or less. It's not uncommon for me to go to one and be the only person in a previw grid.

Hi,

I dont think we actually count per person usage, most of our statistics are captured if a grid load test is carried out, and more often from the valid bug reports received.

I believe 1.11 preview had around 350-400 bug reports from about 100 individuals both on the main grid part and the teen grid part of the preview grid.

1.10 had over 700 reports if i recall correctly and 1.12 is currently on about 120 reports, as you can see they vary quite wildly but are mostly related to the feature set for that release and if people are interested in seeing it before everyone else.

User peaks are usually just after initial release and then after every subsequent build as well as grid load tests and when the maingrid is down for an update.

Milo.
