I am very concerned.....
When I entered the Preview world a day or so ago, I read an announcement that said people should update their video cards.
Do you realize that many can't afford a new card? I feel you are building SL out of the range of most people. Many people who can afford new cards would rather spend the money on their families or getting to and from work.
What I fear is that many people will say, thats it, and pack it up and leave.
Please water down 1.9.1 or at least put in more stop or disable switches, I did not see enought and I could not locate the switches that disabled wave etc the last time I was in the 1.9.1.12 test world.
Thank you

I am sure that there was no announcement saying people should upgrade their video cards. I do think there was an announcement that people should upgrade their video card drivers, which is free and really should be done anyways.
One of the largest features in 1.9.1 does rely on hardware (the lighting), which means it is possible for there to be bugs that only show on specific hardware or with specific drivers. While we will do our best to ensure that Second Life continues to work on the existing hardware requirements, we can't be expected to test and support every old driver version. This is why we ask that everyone update their video card drivers.
If you experience a significant performance decrease on 1.9.1 over 1.9.0, please do bug report it and include your computer's hardware specifics.
