I was just wondering how it is determined to have auctions in USD or in L$?

I believe how this works depends on size, nim. Specifically--if a parcel is 4096 m2 or smaller, then the auction will be in L$. If it's larger than that, US$. As you can see from the Closed Auctions, pretty easy to see the pattern once you've seen enough auctions go by.
