now this message pops up saying can't connect because computers clock is set incorrectly.. (pulling hair out of head) my computer clock is set to SLT and this computer isn't mine. I can't change the clock anyway...
before today I could connect normally and get on just fine...

That message pops up where there is a technical problem with authentication. This usually happens when clocks are out of sync. It is important that the time zone be correct for where the computer is, as well as the time. There could be other reasons why authentication could fail that may generate that message, although I do not know them off the top of my head. If you are sure the clock time and time zone are correct you should contact [email]support@lindenlab.com[/email] for additional help.
