Ok it may be in here somewhere, but seeing as how the search function only seems to care about the first term I enter, I'm just not finding it.
I have heard from ... umm... sources, that EA is set to acquire Linden Labs, and that this is already a done deal.... is this true? If it is, what changes can we expect to see in the future?

No. We are not being bought out by EA or anyone.
If we are they haven't told me, or anyone I have asked! In fact, to my knowledge we aren't looking for buyers or even entertaining the most wildest of offers. Although I can give you an address if you want to send a few hundred million my way as a "we're interested" hello. I could use a new car or 10 and an estate on the bluffs or something. No garuantees that it will get you anywhere though, except in my good graces. In fact it is pretty much gauranteed not to get you anywhere. However I might like have you over for tea or something... let me know.
