Blog needs fixed

I've a serious concern.

If the blog is to replace the forum as a means of communication, how is it to do so when it does not give us the information we need?

Point of fact; There is nothing on the blog (at the time of this writing) about the grid being down. Although almost an hour has passed. In that time, there was a forum post by LL, and many by Residents as well, passing on the information for all.

I understand LL is set in replacing the forums (for good or bad depending on teh opinion of whom you ask), but if the "official" means of communication is to be the blog, could information be posted there as the community needs it?

And no, this isn't a rant. I'd just rather see a smooth transition than a rocky/broken one.

Aye--it's not a technological issue here, it's another one. I'll remind more Lindens to please post to the blog.
