Think you guys could set a 20 minute timer on one of your watches to update us on the status of any grid affecting problems which effectively prevent access? It's been over an hour since any updates to the blog, and while you may have nothing to report those of us not logged in and waiting would feel better knowing that something is being done.

Historically, we've done that, although not as consistently as you'd wish, it's true. It's a good thing two minutes after you posted this, there was another update:
http://blog.secondlife.com/2006/11/20/grid-closed-to-new-log-ins/ Generally, I hear two things: (1) Update us regularly, even if there's no news, because on the blog, it isn't like Second Life with realtime feedback. (2) Update only when there's new news, because updates without anything new to say waste space. Or sometimes: (3) Update regardless... and post "I'M STILL HEEEERE AND WATCHING OVER YOU GUYS!" with the latest time. In all seriousness, we continue to endeavor to provide more frequent updates. Having regular expected "update-checks" is a fine idea. _____________________
