ok so where do all the lindens go? For example when I upload an image what happens to that 10L? or start a group? WHere does it all go? and why can't it be recirculated?

Hello Maxwell--first question on the forums and a good one to boot. A warm welcome. It basically goes back into "the system" that Linden Lab monitors, and is known as a "money sink" (the definition there is from World of Warcraft, but the first part is similar).
