Griefing is continually getting worse in the sand boxes. From mild irratation of people purposely standing in front of you while you are trying to rez or follow bots that distract you from your project to down right assault of someone deliberately running into you with some type of vehicle. It is obvious that some of these people should be in the teen life section but there is no proof. A lot of littering and those people that think the sandboxes are casinos and keep dropping get rich schemes and money games. Others just drop multiple things to cause lag. There are things that could be done to prevent these things automatically but the cheapest and most effective would be to have volenteer lindens police the grounds. Multiple objects could be eliminated immediately as well as follow bots and any other illegal or offensive object. The physical abuse, harassment,or other personal attacks would still be taken up by the present abuse reporting methods. I have made complaints as prescribed by the tos but have yet to see where anyone was disaplined in the police blotter. It really seems that the only tos infraction is harassment to a linden in the forums.

Tana, we're going to be adapting our "Abuse" measures in the future to scale because as you may know, right now it's difficult to follow everything that's happening across such a growing grid.
We also have some open issues about disallowing certain kinds of objects in sandboxes, but those require dev time, which has been allocated to other projects — like scaling and stability first, as that's so seriously important.
We don't have any "volunteer Lindens" to spare. This is speculation, but I think Resident-run sandboxes will play an increasingly important role in the future.
