Right now the only way to change the ownership of an object is to give it to the person. This is all fine and good, but many times its an object you've built for them that exists on the ground. Thus, you have to pick it up, losing its position and rotation in the process to give to them so they can drop it and reposition it. For massive projects that cant be linked into a single object it's even more of a nightmare trying to explain to someone how to drop and move unlinked objects! So, I propose a setting on the edit or properties window, "change owner to [ name]" which when you click 'go' or 'give' would pop a dialog on that other person to say "Joe wants to give you ownership of 'object' do you accept?' In this way you could create something for someone, and give it to them, without having to pick it up first! Or, if that doesnt fly, howabout an option to 'remember former location' for an object that when dropped it snaps back to where it was (providing it was dropped within 64m of where it was taken from. and I say 64m because of mass groups of unlinked objects.) --- as a setting on the properties window once it's been placed in inventory. (because there, it can work for groups or single objects.) In fact a snap to would be useful for a great many things, like when you accidentally take or delete an object and want to put it back. (I guess this could be two seperate proposals.

Hiya Malendryn. Actually, what you can also do is: - right-click an object and Edit it - make sure the "More >>" button is expanded on the edit tools - Check "For Sale", Price to whatever you want, and select "Original" When someone buys it it'll be left in place on the ground. KatanaBlade Anubis has a nice, related suggestion: /13/19/71630/1.htmlAnd if you you're selling a parcel of land with transferable objects, in the Sell Land window, you can also specify that all that stuff changes over to the new owner. Snapping memory would be helpful in a variety of situations--some Resis like CrystalShard Foo and Lex Neva make devices to assist with build positioning, you may want to chat them up. Lots of clever ingenuity in this world. =) Hope this helps.
