This may seem like a strange question coming from a resident - but here it comes anyhows.
How come viewing the market data for the Lindex is restricted to residents only ?
( Ie you can only get to it if you have logged on )
Surely it would make some sort of sense if non-residents ( IE Prospective Residents ) could see it and find out exactly how much a Linden Dollar is worth...
I mean they can see all of the shop sites and find the cool stuff they wanna buy - but until they actually hit the button and become a member they cannot actually see what the "official" price is going to be for the toys they will want.
Had I known aboutbuying things before I came into SL, not knowing what the local currency was worth and having it "hidden" away behind a password screen would have put me off slightly.
Or did I miss something somewhere ?
