I'm gentle! Good day to you, JP. This is what's called a "group title". Groups in Second Life are used for such purposes as greater social organization. An Officer of a group can specify what the Officer and Member titles are, respectively. Titles can be used for serious purposes, wacky fun, etc. For example, it's common to see members of a club group have the title of "VIP" or "Guest" or something similar, while an officer will have "Manager". You can create a group of your own (groups currently must have 3 or more people in 'em to stay active) and come up with your own title. To do this, go to Edit menu > Groups > Create button. Hope this helps.
