Are we just supposed to get used to this packet loss?

All I could find on the blog was something about "the bandwidth issues have been resolved."

I have just constant packet loss, and have had ever since the update. It slows down my building because I have to try to do things in between the red lines.

On the other hand, I was with a friend last night who said he had no packet loss at all. (Course, he was drunk, so who knows.)

I have heard that the bandwidth was purposely throttled in order to handle the hordes of new players.

What is the truth of that?

Is this something we're just going to have to learn to live with, like various other things in the past?

I certainly have been having to just live with it, ever since the update.

Well...no you aren't supposed to live with it, and NO! we didn't throttle it back. We are improving some routing issues that are contributing to packet loss, and have a team on it to make sure there are no additional problems.
