Can you please acknowledge whether or not you are aware that some players have been randomly crashing while logged in since the update yesterday?

I have called Live Help in game. Received no response.

I have mailed support. No Response.

I have posted in Technical issue forum, no Linden response.

I have done everything short of reinstalling XP on my PC as far as attempted tech solutions go. Nothing at all changed on my machine (which ran SL without a single glitch for my first 7 weeks as a resident), only the SL update on Wednesday was a change to my system. My video card and the rest of my system are well above spec, my drivers are up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SL. Rebooted machine, yadda yadda yadda. I have wiped every trace (including registry entries) I could find of SL from my machine before reinstall.

So now I am posting here, because y'all are simply not answering.

Please let us know is you are aware of this?

I am part of a business in SL, and this is severly hindering it. Please acknowledge.

Hello Sunspot, I have indeed heard of some crashing issues being investigated--whether one or more of them is the same as yours I can't tell for sure. So consider it acknowledged that we're looking into it.

I'm also personally aware of some methodical repros for crashes: sending a postcard and clicking "Discard" on the Snapshot Preview dialog also crashes me out reliably.

As this is ongoing, please send in your crash reports--the Crash Reporter that comes up--and we'll continue to be on-watch on the issues.

Some crashes are also listed here: http://secondlife.com/support/known-issues.php

You can also try calling Support.

Apologies for such a tough time.
