IMs

Hey, I hope this is the right forum to post this question... anyway, I wonder if there is a way to send IMs eventhough you're not online on SL. You see, I'm unable to login SL and I don't have the emails of my friends there. Thanks!

Hi SiuSuet! There's not a built-in way. There are some Resident gadgets to IM from offline--http://www.maxcase.info you can see he put one on the right-hand side of his blog. Ask him how he did it, hehe.

Otherwise, if you have IM-to-email turned on, you *can* reply to IMs from your email. You can only do that for a couple of days or so after receiving a given IM though. It times out afterward.

In the future it's likely, since this is so popularly-asked for, that there'll be easier ways to do it.
