Blue ... I keep hearing you say that are legit uses to copy stuff. Other than copying stuff you own legit and are authorised to copy by the creator or have created yourself .... What other reason is there? Forgive me ... but what I hear the company saying ... almsot sounds like its trying to protect the lindens that are part of this mess. So What LEGIT uses are there to copy ANYTHING that is owned by another without their knowledge?

US Copyright law allows for limited "fair use" of copyrighted materials. As such, not all copying is theft, and the distinction has to be made on an individual basis, not in blanket terms. For more info on copyrights, please visit http://www.copyright.gov/
