I had posted about a week ago about the Lindex Process to paypal.
It is getting slower and slower to get our cashouts. While LL does not have a problem billing us the day our tiers are due on the day it is due, It doesnt matter that I am billed on a non business day. Now this post is missing when I check all post started by me. So I am reposting a longer post now.
My suggestions in that post were reworking some of the ways you all deal with Fraud Monitoring. I have read the forums and I am not alone. Some of these processes take up to 6 days now.
I suggest if the member is a verified paypal member of say 3 or more and has been doing business with Linden Lab with no problems. there should be some system to offer the reliable members a faster instant paypal or bank transaction. I am willing to pay extra money to get my money faster then 6 days and I know a few others would be willing to.
As for Linden Lab, this is a business. For many designers and sim owners it is a business too. You cant concentrate on new ways to zoom the camera in and ignore the ongoing slow process it takes for us to be paid. No 3rd party site ever made us wait 6 business days to get our cash.
Money isnt everything in this world but without it I can't pay my cable internet, rent, electric and hardware I have to keep buying just to keep up with Second Lifes new features just to be here and Work. Sorry Comcast doesnt give a crap you didnt get paid on time. They will shut you down.
I read a blanket response about how it takes 0-5 business days not including weekend. That is smoke some of us have been using Lindex since it Opened and knows how reliable it used to be compared to how it is now. I could cash out on Wednesday night and get it thursday Monring when they do the process. but the last month I am cashing Wednesday and I am lucky if i get it by tuesday or wednesday of the following week.
I am a smaller of the bigger businesses in SL. I'm not complaining as much as strongly suggesting a better system. I could point out some flaw in the Lindex now but I wont do that in public. I have pointed it out to a few lindens but nothing is changing so I may have to email Phillip myself.
If it takes perhaps giving us business apllications for those of us that bring in an Honest X amount of US cash a month to be on a business priorty process list then I say lets do it. I'll be the first to apply. Kind of like BBB of Second life is nessesary these days with the growing populations.
But please don't ignore this issue. Some of us just work here too.
