As indicated in my previous Answers section post I recomended a multi window view for the SL client to allow users with dual screens to easilly unclutter their world/gaming view area. It was suggested that I start a proposition to get this going. In the week that the proposition has been up in the "vote" area there has been a pretty good response. Proposition #1070 has 76 votes. It was also pointed out that there was a similar proposition #197 which I did not know about, this proposition has 42 votes making the total for both 118. Can the developers take a serious look at this idea and see if it is possible and hopefully move forward with this.

The comments I have recieved on my forum post for the proposition range from LSL coders who want to be able to look at objects while working on their LSL editor window, to users like me who just want a more streamlined and less cluttered gaming area.

My many thanks for all the great work the programmers and employees of LL are doing.

KDL, I'm so happy you went ahead and created a proposal! Call to action! w00t! I'm going to show this to Steve, graphics guru, and see what insights he has. :)

Floating window support is on our "to do" list, however, given the great many other things on that list, realistically it will probably be a while before we get to it.
