Linden trees not detailed

I can't find this in a previous thread but I can see resident created trees fine, all the leaves are detailed. Linden trees show as flat green crossed blocks. Graphics detail is high and I've tried the slider for Tree mesh right over to max. It makes a slight difference but barely noticable. A friend got the same result but had more detail on an alt yet we can't nail the setting that causes it. Any ideas? I've not noticed it before.

The "tree mesh detail" slider is definitely the one that should improve the rendering of Linden Trees.

One possibility is that some of your cache files are corrupted. Try going under Preferences, and in the Network tab press the button to "clear cache." Relog and that might do the trick.
