InfoHubs in Hetrocetera and the Southern Continent

[left]As it stands now, the overwhelming majority of the infohubs are on the original mainland (with the highest concentration clusted in the older sims). Only three are in the Hetrocetra Atoll and none are in the new Southern continent. Is this intended to be permanent? Or will Linden Labs be opening up a second round of InfoHub "bidding" to support residents in those areas? I would think that the Southern Continent would be a priority, since most new First Land is being created in that area. Thanks.

Hey Carl -- it's possible we may expand Infohubs, now a part of a broader list of "Linden Locations" (it comes up when you first open Search > Places), in the future. No plan to right now, and they aren't necessarily based on geographic proximity because of how direct, point-to-point teleportation changed all that.

Similarly, there are some new Linden Location projects in the works in which we'll be asking for Resident content contributions -- news on that to come.
