Suggestion for SL Help for Messed Up Av Textures

Hiya!

Not sure if this is the right forum section for this suggestion, but I just wanted to suggest adding in "Disable Avatar Vertex Program in Edit Preferences" for the F1 SL Help "My avatar textures are messed up" link.

It seems like a lot of new residents are having trouble with this, when SL settings default to having Avatar Vertex Program checked for them, but their av appearances are corrected as soon as it's unchecked. So this could be a quick fix that might save a lot of needless software reinstallations and headaches...

You're right that this is a good step in the present day and age--both of us know the horrible "My shoulders are spikey!" or "My av glows as green as radioactive Kool-Aid!" symptomatic of Avatar Vertex problems.

While this isn't the same as a bad texture bake--it's good info to include. Let me clip and save this so we can get it included in a future F1 HELP update if the root problems aren't solved soon (I continue to long for an easier way to refresh avatar textures).
