Why am I still being charged in my account for higher tier then I am using for new month when my tier usage isn't that high?
Am I going to be charged now indefinitely for 15 dollar tier dues when I am only using 5? I assume I probably should ask this in support email request but I just curious if this type of thing is common and will continue because I want to know for the community "good" so I am asking here.
I thought about prepaying but my worry is if I prepay there will be glitch in your guys system and you'll start double billing me. While the amounts I would put in this game aren't like hundreds nor am I willing to spend hundred here at this point it does concern me as new member that you Lindens and some glitch could start charging my credit card indefinitely with no recourse.
What protections do I have as consumer that I won't be over charged or double charged for services here? What do I do if I have dispute with charges, example I am only using 1024 m lot, I used 2048 one month, sold land and following months I am still being billed for 2048 m lot
P.S. I have contacting billing no response yet.
My total monthly charges say it is 15.00 total peak usage for last month was 2048, but this month I only own is 1012 which includes first land.

This is not a common issue, you should contact support (http://secondlife.com/community/support.php) regarding your specific account.

The chart on https://secondlife.com/account/landfees.php should tell you exactly what land you are being billed for, whether it is owned land or land tier donated to a group, your available meters etc. If that doesn't match what you are being billed for then you need to contact support.
