Recently, a new process called "Second Life Views" was announced, whereby certain residents chosen by LL would be invited to discuss SL matters face to face. http://secondlife.blogs.com/change/2006/05/announcing_seco.htmlI would like to know: 1. if this is still going ahead; 2. if it is, by which criteria will the residents concerned be chosen, and when will the rest of the community know who has been consulted in this manner, and when will records of the proceedings (or at least what was discussed) be published?

Yes! We are still proceeding with plans for the first meeting of Second Life Views. I don't have a final list yet, as not everyone we initially invited can make it. The people we've invited have in many different ways been very active in the SL Community -- entrepreneurs, socially active, creative. One was chosen at random.
We will definitely share the proceeds of the meeting. I don't have a final agenda yet, but we'll also share that, and give everyone else a chance, and a place, to give us feedback about the same topics.
Also, if the first meeting is a success, we plan to make it an on-going program so that over time we'll have more and more residents involved.
