1.9 still not detecting 512MB graphics cards?

I have another machine here running a GeForce 6200 with 512MB. SL only detects 256MB of video memory.

The system has 768mb of ram.

Anything that can be done in this situation?

Yes--that sounds right, Michi. Increase system memory to 1024 MB or higher and you should be able to select the 512 MB option for the graphics card. :)

It takes about 2 X system memory to support X video memory, so allowing any other configuration is very unlikely to be helpful.
