I enjoy encouraging my esteemed coworkers to post on the SL Forums!

Hopefully I am posting enough for you too. :)

However, part of it is that the forums have scaled larger, and there's so much to work on here at Linden Lab. We are often thinking about ways to communicate better with the Residents and save time for all involved. A recent example was making Linden posts burnt sienna-colored so they stand out more... there are odd gems of Linden wisdom which don't get the attention they should. That being said, we've got further ameliorations in the works.

Also, a lot more happens inworld which is never seen on the forums, so related to what I just wrote, it's important to communicate within Second Life itself, and leverage other tools which could assist us in such matters.

Debates may not be the most productive usage of time, but discussions do happen! Have a look at Andrew Linden's recent thread on a Gray Goo Fence:

Nevertheless, we enjoy hearing from the community, and responding. Like a catchy rock song, I call it "Call and response!" When there are posts on Second Life Answers asking for the expertise of a specific Linden, for example, I am sure to let them know so they can reply.

Also: if you'd like to see posts by a specific Linden on the forums, simply use Search:

/invalid_link.html

Type in the Linden's name for "User Name" on the right, then push the Search Now button.
