Sorry to post this here, but I keep hearing Philip discuss things involving to LL's position for Copying, and such.
He stated that (with attribution) that he would like to see the community enforce itself by way of a feedback or reputation system. In other words, when we find someone copying our stuff, we can not only file against them - but we can tell others not to deal with XYZ because they are known to copy.
However ... this once again butts up against your open/unverified registration system!
HOW can you reliably ban or hold a "reputation" against someone when you don't know who that person is? With no way to tie an account to a person, there is no way to ban/report against a person.
As long as users can create/recreate/re-recreate accounts over and over, then there is no way to hold an accountability system.
Until you figure out a way to tie a person (a *specific* person) to an account, then you continue to leave open a whole pandora's box of issues.
