I Am learning to build and plain on makeing and selling stuff, well i was thinking what if i could log on to sl but in a off line mood, so whan your doing update or i dont feel like chatting, make it so we can log in off line and work on stuff,, lol gest a idea,

There are some comparable things, Saur! There's a an Internet Relay Chat channel called #secondlife on EFNet. It's Resident-run but Lindens frequently visit. I've only been there a few times, tho.
Also, there are times when Main Grid is down but you can visit a Preview: http://secondlife.com/community/preview.php Gotta get your fix!  _____________________
