Hello, This thread: /130/93/104687/1.htmlhas made me a bit nervous. Can Linden Lab offer any assurances that Second Life will not be closed or seized by the government as a result of this user's campaign? If Second Life is closed or seized by the government, what will happen to resident investment? Will all of that value simply cease to exist? I'm sure that many people are watching this situation develop and getting a bit of an uneasy feeling about it. Thanks in advance for any input that you can offer.

Hello Shaun,
While it's normal to feel nervous or uneasy reading such things, it's also be a good idea to avoid unfounded speculation not based on facts; that being said, we are still involved in investigating those details relevant to the issues at hand.
This is a matter that we are addressing formally with our attorneys. We prefer not to make statements in advance of our public filings in legal proceedings. Thanks for your interest.
