Returned items not showing up in Lost and Found Folder - a Bug?

I had logged in a few day ago, and had the green text message that all my objects from a parcel of land I had a room in was returned to me to my lost and found. No problem I think bc I know the owner of the land and he was re doing the sim or something.

but then I look inside my lost and found folder, and none of the items are in there.

will they show up again at some point, or have I lost them for always?
