As I see it there are several bugs.

bug 1. "New Items deleted on logout if not manipulated (droped, opened, etc)". This bug has been identified, and is 100% reproduceable. this is the source of lots of linden cheering.. but is becomming a form letter response now.

bug 2. "OLD ITEMS suddenly vanishing from inventory, many while being worn". This bug showed itself following the "Repairing your inventory" situation... following the permissions bug. Many of us have lost some very expensive attachments. Scripted collars, ao's, etc. Thing is, this seemed to affect objects GIVEN from person to person, and even content that was uploaded or created from scratch by the end user.

bug 3. "all or most of my inventory is gone". This is a huge "wipeout" bug that several people have reported.. often dating back to just before the "repairing your inventory" fiasco.

I am suffering from bug 2.. and I'm EXTREMELY ANRGY that Torley decided to disregard every ssingle post I've made, and just respond with a "as you can see we have identified the bug" with a link to the reproduction of bug 1.

To date, I have lost (verified):
1 car (pre-production beta version, but still)
1 600L$ Amethyst Collar
1 AO wind-up key
1 uploaded texture
at least 2 given textures

The one thing all the objects have in common, is the fact that they contained scripts and animations, and were, at one time, in someone else's inventory.

Now.. I can't speak for anyone else out there.. but these items weren't "new". The car was, technically.. but it had been handed to me person-to-person.. so any hope of blaming it on "certain specially scripted vendors" is just wishful thinking.

I really want someone to fix this problem.. because I am terrified that my AO or something irreplaceable will dissappear... or worse, that some thing that me and my partner have worked on for weeks (like the only moddable copy of that car) will vanish when we need it,
